About
The karate program at Parkview Community Hall offers classes for kids, starting at 5 years of age, to adults. The style of karate, known as Uechi-ryu Karate-do, is a smooth and flowing self-defence system that does not require students to have special athletic ability or experience.

Time and Location
The school has classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:45-7:45 pm for students aged 4-12 years and 7:45-8:45 pm for students 13+ years old, September to June. First Class: Sept 13, 2022, but new students may join at any time.
Terms run from Sep 13 – Dec 6, Dec 8 – Mar 23, and Apr 4 – Jun 22. (Please note there is no class on Dec 22 nor on any EPSB school holiday.)
Classes are held in the Parkview Community Hall.
Tuition
Before you start! Come join for 4 trial classes. They cost you nothing but give you a fantastic opportunity to experience the sport.
Please complete the 2022-23 registration form, as well as a release waiver in order to participate.
Term Payments are $285.00 each, or the Full Year Payment is $750.00.
Multiple family members registered will receive a 20% discount for the 2nd member and 30% off for any additional members, after the first member pays in full. Newcomers joining mid-term / mid-year will be pro-rated accordingly. Payments can be made via E-transfer.
